CHANGES TO THE SUPPLEMENTAL
PROSPECTUS
This notice has not been reviewed by the Central Bank of Ireland and it is possible that changes thereto may be necessary to meet the requirements of the Central Bank of f Ireland. The Directors are of the opinion that there is nothing cont ained in this notice nor in the proposals detailed herein that confl flicts with the guidance issued by and regulations of the Central Bank of Ireland nor with best industry practice.
Unless otherwise defined herein or unless the context otherwise requires, all defined term s used in this notice shall bear the same meaning as in the Prospectus.
Dear Shareholder
We are writing to you as a shareholder of the SPDR MSCI Europe Energy UCITS ETF (the “ Sub-Fund ”) to advise of the following change which will take effect from 1s 1st t June 2016, or such later date as s the Central Bank notes the revised Supplement to the Prospectus for the Sub-Fund (the “ Effective Date ”).
1. Change in Index
Pursuant to the recent acquisition of BG Group plc by Royal Dutch Shell plc which are both constituents of the MSCI Europe Energy Index (the “ Existing Index ”), the Directors have determined that in order to ensure continued compliance with the Company ny’s investment restrictions and to minimise potential Sub-Fund tracking g error, that the Sub-Fund will now track the MSCI Europe Energy 35/20 Capped Index (the “ New Index ”). The New Index substantially replicates the Existing Index save that it is subject to constituent caps in respect of its largest issuers. The Sub-Fund will continue to track the Existing Index until the Effective Date, from when it will then track the New Index.
