    "abstract": "Measuring velocities requires the synchronization of spatially-separated\nclocks. Because this synchronization must precede the determination of\nvelocities, no system of clock synchronization--such as that based on\nEinstein\u0027s presumption of light-speed isotropy--can ever be founded on an\nexperimentally-validated velocity. I argue that this very old observation,\nwhich lingers in the philosophical literature under the heading\n``Conventionality of Synchronization,\u0027\u0027 suggests an explanation of why\n``spooky\u0027\u0027 quantum correlations can transfer no information at any speed,\nsuperluminal or otherwise. This work constitutes the first application of the\nConventionality doctrine outside of Relativity itself.",
