    "abstract": "Lorentz [of the Lorentz transforms and Lorentz contractions fame] contended\nagainst Einstein that there had to be a medium in which electro-magnetic waves\nexist and propagate, and that that would of necessity be an absolute frame of\nreference for the universe. Einstein won that dispute contending that\nelectro-magnetic waves needed no medium and that there was no absolute frame of\nreference. But, that victory was in a conflict of the Lorentz opinion opposed\nto the Einstein opinion combined with the substantial other successes and\nreputation or Einstein. It was not a victory of solid reasoning nor\ndemonstrated factual evidence. Now solid reasoning and new data not available\nto Einstein and Lorentz show that Lorentz was correct and that Einstein\u0027s\nTheory of Relativity should correctly be termed Einstein\u0027s Principle of\nInvariance. It is shown that Einstein\u0027s comprehensive relativity and denial of\nan absolute frame of reference for the universe are incorrect and that the\nuniverse has an absolute universal prime frame of reference. The significance\nof this correction in its relation to the interaction of science and society is\nthen presented.",
