The Directors are of the opinion that there is nothing contained in this notice nor in the proposals detailed herein t hat conflicts with the guidance issued by and regulations of the Central Bank of Ireland nor with best industry practice.
Unless otherwise defined herein or unless the context otherwise requires, all defined terms used in this notice shall bear the same meaning as in the Prospectus.

CHANGES TO PROSPECTUS SUPPLEMENTS - SPDR S&P U.S. Energy Select Sector UCITS ETF - SPDR S&P U.S. Industrials Select Sector UCITS ETF - SPDR S&P U.S. Materials Select Sector UCITS ETF - SPDR S&P U.S. Consumer Discretionary Select Sector UCITS ETF - SPDR S&P U.S. Consumer Staples Select Sector UCITS ETF - SPDR S&P U.S. Financials Select Sector UCITS ETF - SPDR S&P U.S. Health Care Select Sector UCITS ETF - SPDR S&P U.S. Technology Select Sector UCITS ETF - SPDR S&P U.S. Utilities Select Sector UCITS ETF - SPDR S&P U.S. Real Estate Select Sector UCITS ETF (the “Funds”)
We are writing to you as a shareholder of the Fund s to advise of the following change s which wi ll take effect from 1 5 March 201 9 , or such later date as the Central Bank notes the revised Supplement s to the Prospectus for the Fund s (the “ Effective Date ”).
1. Change s to Ind ices
In order to seek to ensure the Funds can continue to efficiently track the desired exposure in the future , t he Directors have determined to replace the i ndices tracked by the Funds , as indicated in the table below . T he Directors consider that the new indices will offer similar diversification benefits as the existing indices, though limiting over concentration in the top holdings as well as targeting a more balanced exposure across the portfolio securities . The new index for each Fund aims to ensure that the largest constituent should not exceed 25% of th e index, and the second largest constituent should not exceed 20% of the index.
The Fund s will continue to track their existing Index until the Effective Date, and will then track the new Index.
