Notice to shareholders
24 February 2021
Dear Shareholder,
We are writing to you in your capacity as a S S hareholder (“ Shareholder ”) of S State Street UK Index Equity Fund, State Street Europe Index Equity Fund , and State Street Europe Small Cap ESG Screened Equity Fund (“ Fund s ”), sub - funds of State Street Global Advisors Luxembourg SICAV (“ SICAV ”) , to inform you that the Fund s will no longer be eligible for investment as part of the French shareholder savings pl an
- plan d’épargne d’actions (a “ PEA ”) as at 1 September 2021.
If you have acquired Shares in the Funds via an account other than a PEA, there is no action necessary on your part and there is no impact to your holding .
Securities eligible for a PEA ar e those issued by companies registered in the EU (or EEA) member state as well as units of collective investment funds with at least 75% of their assets invested in securities of EU (or EEA) companies. As a result of Brexit, UK securities will cease to be eligible within the 75% PEA Account equity requirement. Therefore, we are giving you notice now that the above - mentioned Funds will cease to be eligible for PEA Accounts from 1 September 2021.
Shareholders in the Funds are advised to consult their tax ad visors regarding the effect of the above change in the Fund’s PEA eligibility status in light of their individual circumstances.
This change will be reflected in the Funds’ Supplement to the Prospectus at the next Prospectus update.
There are no changes to other sub - funds of the Company currently being marketed as eligible for investment as part of a PEA, as outlined in Appendix 1 .
For further details concerning the above please contact your usual relationship manager.
For the a voidance of doubt, capitalised terms used in this notice shall bear the same meaning as set out in the Prospectus.
