A. Summary
The State Street Switzerland Screened Index Equity Fund (“ Fund ”) is an index fund tracking the performance of the MSCI Switzerland Screened Choice Index (“ Index ”). The environmental and social characteristics are promoted by a negat ive and norms-based screen applied to the Index designated by the Fund to screen out securities based on an assessment of their adherence to sustainable investing criteria. The Index repres ents the performance of f the broad Swiss equity market while excluding companies that are asso ciated with controversial weapons, nuclear weapons, civilian firearms, fossil fuel extrac tion, thermal coal power, and tobacco or fail to comply with United Nations Global Compact (“ UNGC ”) principles.
The Fund promotes environment al or social characteristics and whil e it does not have as its objective a sustainable investment, it will seek to invest a minimum of 35% of its portfolio in sustainable investments under article 2(17) of SFDR using t he Investment Manager’s proprietary assessment methodology.
The environmental and social characteristics prom oted by the Fund is the Index designated by the Fund.
The investment policy of the Fund is to track the performance of the Index as closely as possible using the Replication Strategy as further describ ed in the “Investment Strategies” section of the Prospectus, while seeking to minimise as far as possible the tracking difference between the Fund’s performance and that of the Index. The assessme nt of good governance practices is implemented through the negative screening utilised by the Index.
The Investment Manager employs a binding sustainable investing methodology which aims to build a portfolio where at least 90% of the Fund’s assets are invested in securities which are aligned with environmental and social characteri stics promoted by the Fund. The remaining portion (<10%) of the portfolio will not be aligned with the promoted environmental and social characteristics. To the extent that the Fund may use financial derivative instruments, these will not be used to attain the environmental or social characte ristics promoted by the Fund.
The Fund does not commit to making sustainable investments within the meaning of the Taxonomy Regulation.
The proportion of the Fund’s portfolio invested in se curities included in the Index will constitute sustainability indicator used to measure the attain ment of each of the environmental or social characteristics prom oted by the Fund.

The data sources used to attain the relevant environm ental or social characte ristics are detailed in the Index methodology.
There is a risk that the index provider may make errors, such as incorrect assessment of the screen criteria described in the Investment Policy and/or in clude incorrect/exclude correct constituents in the screening process. Sustainable investing data ma y be based on certain assumptions, forecasts, projections, views and opinions which may be based on current market trends or anticipated future events. Given the developing and innovative natur e of data models, methodologies and assumptions and the inherent uncertainty in predicting forwar d-looking events, it cannot be guaranteed that the sustainable investing data is always accurate or co rrect or that the sustainable investing data will satisfy the aims or requirements of any specific client or investor. Furthermore, there may be data that cannot be sourced due to the lack of availabili ty of data sources. For certain markets and types of companies or securities there may be significant limitations in the amount of screening data that is available or no screening data ma y be available such that no scr eening is performed. In certain situations where screening data is not available for a company or a security, the screen provider may, as a proxy, use data relating to a different enti ty to the company, which presents a risk this data may not accurately reflect the sustainability or other characteristics of the relevant company.
State Street Investment Management oversees exter nal vendors, including i ndex providers, in line with its third party risk manage ment programme. State Street Investment Management engages with index providers regularly for service level revi ews and also undertakes targeted reviews of index providers’ processes, systems & systems cont rols, data, quality controls & IT security.
Engagement policies are not directly embedded into t he Fund’s investment strategy. Proxy voting and engagement activities are conducted pursuant to the terms of the Sustainability Stewardship Service Proxy Voting and Engagement Policy.
The Fund has designated the Index for the purpos e of attaining environmental and social characteristics prom oted by the Fund.
The Index is reviewed and rebalanced on a quarterly basis, with the changes implemented as of the close of the last business day of February, May, August and November.

B. No sustainable investment objective
The Fund promotes environment al or social characteristics and whil e it does not have as its objective a sustainable investment, it will seek to invest a minimum of 35% of its portfolio in sustainable investments under article 2(17) of SFDR using t he Investment Manager’s proprietary assessment methodology.
The Fund is an index tracking fund. The Index methodology applies negative and norms-based screen to screen out securities based on an assessm ent of their adherence to sustainable investing criteria including securities of f companies identified as being non-c ompliant with UNGC Principles (relating to environmental protec tion, human rights, labour standards , anti-corruption), and securities of companies associated with controversial weapons , nuclear weapons, civilian firearms, fossil fuel extraction, thermal coal power, and tobacco. The Index methodology, therefore, ensures that the Fund’s sustainable investments do not cause signi ficant harm to any environmental or social sustainable investment objective.
The Fund considers Principal Adverse Impacts (“ PAI ”) on sustainability factors in the application of the Index exclusions. Specif ically, the Index considers • Violations of UN Gl obal Compact Principles • Exposure to controversial weapons • Exposure to companies active in fossil fuel sector
The Index methodology excludes companies deemed to violate UNGC principles as part of the applicable negative screening. The OECD Guideli nes for Multinational Enterprises and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights ar e considered as part of the UNGC principles assessment.
C. Environmental or social characteristics of the financial product
The State Street Switzerland Screened Index Equity Fund is an index fund tracking the performance of the MSCI Switzerland Screened Choice Index. T he environmental and social characteristics are promoted by a negative and norms-based screen appli ed to the Index designated by the Fund to screen out securities based on an assessment of t heir adherence to sustai nable investing criteria. The Index represents the performance of the broad Swiss equity market wh ile excluding companies that are associated with controversial weapons, nuclear weapons, civilian firearms, fossil fuel extraction, thermal coal power , and tobacco or fail to comply with UNGC principles..

D. Investment Strategy
The investment policy of the Fund is to track the performance of the Index as closely as possible using the Replication Strategy as further describ ed in the “Investment Strategies” section of the Prospectus, while seeking to minimise as far as possible the tracking difference between the Fund’s performance and that of the Index.
Securities in the Fund are select ed primarily from the constituents of the Index. Essentially, the portfolio of the Fund would be a near mirror-image of the Index. The Fund also may, in exceptional circumstances, invest in securities not included in t he Index but that are believed to closely reflect the risk and distribution characteristics of securities of f the Index. The Fund may also hold (i) securities which, in the opinion of the Investment Manager, ar e likely to become part of the Index and (ii) securities acquired through corporate activity which ma y not form part of the Index. Securities in the Index are weighted by free float-adjusted market c apitalisation after screening out securities based on an assessment of their adherence to sustainable investing criteria i.e., non-compliance with UNGC principles, association wi th controversial weapons, civilian firearms, nuclear weapons, fossil fuel extraction, thermal coal power and tobacco.
The assessment of good governance practices is implemented through the negative screening utilised by the Index. Companies deemed by the Index provider to not violate UNGC principles are considered to exhibit good governance.
E. Proportion of investments
The Investment Manager employs a binding sustainable investing methodology which aims to build a portfolio where at least 90% of the Fund’s assets are invested in securities which are aligned with environmental and social characteri stics promoted by the Fund. It is intended that, within such portion of the portfolio, at least 35% of the Fund’ s assets are invested in securities which are sustainable investments with environmental and / or so cial objectives, at the point of rebalance of the portfolio which typically occurs on a quarterly basis. The remaining portion (<10%) of the portfolio will not be aligned with the promoted envir onmental and social characteristics.
To the extent that the Fund may use financial derivati ve instruments, these will not be used to attain the environmental or social charac teristics promoted by the Fund.
The Fund does not commit to making sustainable investments within the meaning of the Taxonomy Regulation.

F. Monitoring of environmenta l or social characteristics
The Index represents the performance of the broad Swiss equity market wh ile excluding companies that fail to comply with UNGC principles or are associated with controversial weapons, civilian firearms, nuclear weapons, fossil fu el extraction, thermal coal power, and tobacco. Consequently, the attainment of the associated environmental and soci al characteristics is measured through the Index exclusions of companies that are associated with controversial weapons, civi lian firearms, nuclear weapons, fossil fuel extraction, thermal coal po wer, and tobacco and the companies that fail to comply with the UNGC principles. The proportion of the Fund’s portfolio invested in securities included in the Index will constitute sustainability i ndicator used to measure the attainment of each of the environmental or social charac teristics promoted by the Fund.
As such, the Fund does not intend to hold any securi ties that do not meet the relevant sustainable investing criteria above..
The Fund rebalances on a quarterly basis, in line with the Index rebalancing frequency.
G. Methodologies
The link to the Index methodology which captures the environmental or so cial characteristics promoted by the Fund is made available in the Re levant Supplement and in Section L below.
H. Data sources and processing
The data sources used to attain the relevant environm ental or social characteristics are detailed in the Index methodology.
I. Limitations to methodologies and data
There is a risk that the index provider may make errors, such as incorrect assessment of the screen criteria described in the Investment Policy and/or in clude incorrect/exclude correct constituents in the screening process. Sustainable investing scoring and screening is subject to inherent methodological limitations. Any assessment of sustainable invest ing criteria by an Index is based on the data provided by third parties. Su ch assessments are dependent upon information and data that may be incomplete, inaccurate or unavailable, which c ould cause incorrect assessment of a company’s sustainable investing performance. In particular ther e may be potential inconsistencies, inaccuracy or

Information Classification: Limited Access
a lack of availability of required sustainable invest ing data, particularly where this is issued by external data providers. These lim itations may include but are not limited to issues relating to:
• missing or incomplete data from companies (f or example, relating to their capacity to manage their Sustainability Risks) which have been used as input for any scoring model; • the identification of relevant factors for the sustainable investing analysis; and • the quantity and quality of sustainable investing data to be processed.
Sustainable investing data may be based on certain assumptions, forecasts, projections, views and opinions which may be based on current market tr ends or anticipated future events. To assess company involvement in different activities and to es timate revenue shares as accurately as possible, data providers strive to obtain information dire ctly from companies and issuers. Sources of data include annual reports, regulatory filings, sustai nability reports, pres s releases, investor presentations, company websites, and other company disclosures. Given the developing and innovative nature of data models, methodologies and assumptions and the inherent uncertainty in predicting forward-looking events, it cannot be guaranteed that the sustainable investing data is always accurate or correct or that the sustainable investing data will satisfy the aims or requirements of any specific client or investor. Furthermore , there may be data that cannot be sourced due to the lack of availability of data sour ces. For certain markets and types of issuers, companies or securities there may be significant limitations in the amount of sustainable investing data that is available or no sustainable investing data may be available such that no screening is performed by the index provider. In certain situations where screening da ta is not available for an issuer, an investee company or a security, the index provider may develop and use alte rnative screening methodologies, which presents a risk that this data may not accurately reflect the sustainability or other characteristics of the issuer or the investee co mpany. In certain situations, even where screening data is available it may not be used as part of th e index provider’s screening process. It is not expected that such limitations would affect how the environmental and so cial characteristics promoted by the Fund are met.
J. Due diligence
State Street Investment Management ov ersees external vendors, includin g index providers, in line with its third party risk management programme. State Street Investment Management engages with index providers regularly for service level reviews and also undertakes targeted reviews of index providers’ processes, systems & systems controls, dat a, quality controls & IT security.
