Abstract
Replacing the Newtonian coupling G by -iG, the Schrodinger-Newton equation becomes ``frictional''. Instead of the reversible Schrodinger-Newton equation, we advocate its frictional version to generate the set of pointer states for macroscopic quantum bodies.
