    "abstract": "The two-step model with pi-, rho- and omega- exchanges taken into account is\napplied to investigate the reactions pn -\u003e d eta and pn -\u003e d eta-prime. The\nexisting experimental data on the reaction pn -\u003e d eta are analysed and\npredictions for the cross section of the reaction pn -\u003e d eta-prime are\npresented. It is found that pi- as well as rho exchange yield significant\ncontributions in both reactions. The effect of the final state interaction is\nalso studied.",
