    "abstract": "A new type of charge-exchange injection scheme for high-intensity proton\nrings that use a laser beam and an undulator magnet is proposed. The elementary\nstripping process is resonant photoionization via a broad Stark state formed by\nthe Stark effect at an energy level near the peak of the potential barrier. The\nmethod used to estimate the parameters of the necessary laser beam and magnetic\nfield is described. As an application to an actual accelerator, a laser\nstripping system using a high-finesse Fabry-Perot resonator and an undulator is\nproposed. An estimation of the photon loss due to the pumping-up of H$^0$\natoms, tunability of the system and the emittance growth due to stripping in\nthe undulator magnet is also given.",
