    "abstract": "Important issues about climate change are summarized and discussed:\n  A large body of evidence shows that the world climate is getting warmer.\nClimate models give a consistent explanation of this observation once\nhuman-made emissions of greenhouse gases are taken into account. Furthermore,\nthe main source of greenhouse gases comes from the burning of oil, gas and\ncoal, mainly in the industrialized countries. Without any change of behaviour,\nthe possible predicted consequences of this climate change for the coming\ndecades are very disturbing. Today\u0027s (in)action\u0027s will have long-term\nconsequences for the entire biosphere and the living conditions of many future\ngenerations.\n  The combination of the various points related to the climate change leads to\na final question: \"For how long will Humanity continue to bury its head in the\nsand?\"",
