    "abstract": "Quantum computers are expected to be considerably more efficient than\nclassical computers for the execution of some specific tasks. The difficulty in\nthe practical implementation of thoose computers is to build a microscopic\nquantum system that can be controlled at a larger mesoscopic scale. Here I show\nthat vertical lines of donor atoms embedded in an appropriate Zinc Oxide\nsemiconductor structure can constitute artificial molecules that are as many\ncopy of the same quantum computer. In this scalable architecture, each unit of\ninformation is encoded onto the electronic spin of a donor. Contrary to most\nexisting practical proposals, here the logical operations only require a global\ncontrol of the spins by electromagnetic pulses. Ensemble measurements simplify\nthe readout. With appropriate improvement of its growth and doping methods,\nZinc Oxide could be a good semiconductor for the next generation of computers.",
