This document provides you with key investor information about this Fund. It is not marketing material. The information is re quired by law to help you understand the nature and the risks of investing in this Fund. You are advised to read it so you can make an informed decision about whether to invest. AI UK Equity Index (Custom Screened) Fund, ACS (Class 3) Accumulation Units, a sub - fund of the Aviva Investors Passive Funds ACS (AIPF ACS) (ISIN: GB00BFZP4910). This fund is managed by Aviva Investors UK Fu nd Services Limited. OBJECTIVES AND INVESTMENT POLICY
The aim of the Fund is to seek to provide capital growth and income for investors by tracking closely the performance of the FTSE® Custom Screened All Share Index (the Benchmark). In pursuing this objective the Fund will directly invest into constituents o f the Benchmark Index. The Fund may also invest in permitted transferable securities, permitted money - market instruments, permitted deposits, units in collective investment schemes (including schemes operated by other Aviva Group entities and group entitie s of the Investment Manager) and exchange traded funds (including funds operated by group entities of the Investment Manager). Derivatives and forward transactions may be used for investment purposes and for efficient portfolio management. We may use deriv atives for investment purposes, and in order to reduce risk or to manage the fund efficiently. Derivatives are linked to the rise and fall of other assets. In other words, they "derive" their price from another asset. They can generate returns when share p rices and/or indices fall. The Benchmark Index is based on the FTSE® All Share Index (the Parent Index) but introduces custom screening to exclude certain constituents of the Parent Index. The Parent Index represents the performance of all eligible compani es listed on the London Stock Exchange's (LSE) main market, which pass screening for size and liquidity. Relative to the Parent Index, the Benchmark Index excludes constituents from the Parent Index based on Aviva Investors’ baseline exclusion policy, as s et out in Appendix 5 of the Prospectus. Performance and Risk Measurement: The Fund's performance is compared against the Benchmark Index because the Fund intends to replicate the performance of the Benchmark Index. The Fund uses a “tracking error” to measu re the consistency between the Fund's returns and the returns of the Benchmark Index. In general, the lower
the tracking error, the more consistent the Fund's returns are relative to the Index, and vice - versa. The Fund has a yearly tracking error target ra nge of 0 - 0.20% (excluding charges). In normal market conditions the anticipated level of tracking error will be within 0.20% (excluding charges) of the Benchmark Index. As a consequence of this, the fund may be treated as tax transparent for the purpose of income and /or gains by relevant taxing jurisdictions. The Prospectus and annual reports are prepared for the umbrella. The fund is a non - UCITs retail scheme. This NURS KII document is specific to this unit class. NURS - KII documents will be available for other unit classes within this fund where they exist. The fund's current unit price is calculated on each working day and is published daily on our website. The Depositary of the fund is HSBC Bank plc. It has delegated the function of Custodi an of the fund to HSBC Bank plc. Investors should note that the tax legislation that applies to the fund may have an impact on the personal tax position of your investment in the fund.
