Premier Miton Investment Funds (Dublin) plc 2 Interim Report and Unaudited Financial Statements
Company Background
Premier Miton Investment Funds (Dublin) plc (the “Company”) was incorporated on 17 July 2003 under the laws of the Republic of Ireland as an open-ended umbrella type investment company with variable capital and limited liability in which different Funds may be created from time to time. The Company is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland as an Investment Company pursuant to the European Communities (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) Regulations 2011 (as amended), (the “UCITS Regulations”) and the Central Bank (Supervision and Enforcement) Act 2013 (Section 48(1)) (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) Regulations 2019 ( the “Central Bank UCITS Regulations”).
At 30 June 2026, the Company has four active sub-funds (each a “Fund”, collectively the “Funds”), Premier Miton UK Focus Fund, Premier Miton (Ireland) Global Dynamic Credit Fund, Premier Miton (Ireland) US Opportunities Fund and Premier Miton (Ireland) Financials Capital Securities Fund. On 8 July 2024, the Premier Miton Opportunities Fund terminated and on 13 February 2026, it liquidated and de-authorised by the Central Bank Of Ireland. Premier Miton (Ireland) Financials Capital Securities Fund was authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland on 19 December 2025 and launched on 13 March 2026.
Further information of the Company is referenced on Note 1 of the financial statements.
Premier Miton UK Focus Fund
The aim of the Premier Miton UK Focus Fund (the “Fund”) is to maximise returns for investors, predominantly through capital growth, by investing in quoted equities using private equity techniques.
The Fund only makes investments in companies that the Investment Manager believes have the potential to produce a total return of at least 15% per annum.
Premier Miton (Ireland) Global Dynamic Credit Fund
The aim of Premier Miton (Ireland) Global Dynamic Credit Fund (the “Fund“) is to invest in a diversified portfolio of fixed, variable and zero interest rate investments, including bonds issued by governments and companies and convertible bonds (bonds that can convert into company shares). There will be a focus on investment in developed market issuers and securities, with no more than 10% of the Fund invested in issuers from non-developed markets. Developed markets are considered to be countries with advanced economies and more mature capital markets.
Premier Miton (Ireland) US Opportunities Fund
The aim of Premier Miton (Ireland) US Opportunities Fund (the “Fund“) is to achieve the objective of the Fund by investing in equity and equity related securities which are, or for which the underlying securities are, issued in respect of North American companies across all industry sectors. The Investment Manager considers North American companies to be those whose shares are listed, quoted or traded on a recognised stock exchange in the United States of America or Canada. The Fund is unconstrained with no specific sector or company size bias.
The Fund may also invest in debt securities from North America, such as bonds and convertible bonds (bonds that can convert into company shares) issued by companies, where doing so is complementary to the Fund's investment objective and equity investment strategy. The Fund may acquire debt securities where such securities are issued to the equity holders of a company invested in by the Fund. The Fund may also invest directly in convertible bonds where the bond provides more attractive exposure to a company than an equity investment.
Premier Miton (Ireland) Financials Capital Securities Fund
The aim of Premier Miton (Ireland) Financials Capital Securities Fund (the “Fund“) is to provide income together with capital growth over the long-term, by investing in a portfolio of fixed and variable interest rate investments, focusing on bonds issued by companies in the financial services sector, such as banks and insurance companies globally. The Investment Manager will invest the Fund in capital securities issued by companies in the financial service sector globally, such as Tier 1, Tier 2 and subordinated senior securities, including contingent capital bonds, also known as contingent convertible bonds (“CoCos”). CoCos are a form of debt security that can either convert into equity or have the principal value written down resulting from certain events relating to regulatory requirements.
The Fund may also invest in other debt securities globally, such as bonds issued by governments, companies and other institutions not in the financial services sector (which may include, for example, supranational organisations, municipals and local authorities and government agencies) and convertible bonds (bonds that can convert into company shares). It is expected that investment in these securities would be limited and would take place in certain market conditions, such as periods of stress in the financial sector. The Fund may also invest in deposits, cash and cash equivalents (including, but not limited to, commercial paper, government and public debt or money market funds).

Investment Manager’s review
Performance review
The Premier Miton UK Focus Fund (“the Fund”) Class I shares returned 8.79% during the period compared to the Deutsche Numis All-Share Index (“the Index”) which returned 7.12%.
The performance of the Fund is measured against the Index which represents the performance of eligible companies, of all sizes, on the London Stock Exchange and the Alternative Investment Market. The Fund is actively managed and is managed in reference to the benchmark. The Investment Manager may use its discretion to invest in companies or sectors not included in the benchmark.
Market review
The first half of 2026 was dominated by the war in the Middle East and the political developments in Westminster.
After an initial period of intense bombing, the situation calmed down as it gradually became apparent that both sides were increasingly keen to find a way to draw it to a close. The extent of the attacks and the bombings lessened, but the important Strait of Hormuz (an important shipping route used to transport oil and gas around the world) remained effectively closed.
This changed in mid-June when a formal ceasefire and memorandum of understanding was agreed and signed. Many important details remained unresolved, but the agreement did appear to have been sufficient to get the flow of oil and gas through the Strait of Hormuz back up, although tanker traffic remained well below the pre-war levels.
In the UK, Andy Burnham returned to Westminster politics with a convincing victory in the Makerfield by-election, paving the way for his imminent coronation as Prime Minister. This was initially taken badly by the bond market (where investors lend money to governments and companies) due to the perception of Burnham being further to left and therefore likely to increase fiscal spending, although Burnham himself subsequently stated that he would stick to the current fiscal rules (government limits on borrowing and spending).
Portfolio review
Over the period, we added 9 new positions to the Fund’s portfolio and sold out of 7.
In the consumer sector, we added the leading bowling franchise, Hollywood Bowl, which offers an attractive combination of business growth and strong cash generation. We also bought shares in Norcros and Dunelm, both well-managed, highly profitable UK market leaders in the bathroom and homewares categories.
Diageo, the leading global spirits business, was purchased following a management and strategy change at the company that we believe could help improve the company’s performance over time. Automotive distribution business Inchcape was sold partly on valuation considerations (which refers to our assessment of whether the company's share price accurately reflects its underlying value and future prospects) and partly due to our concerns that the company’s competitive position may be weakening.
We also added two companies whose share prices we believe have fallen too far due to Artificial Intelligence concerns. Autotrader, the leading automotive marketplace in the UK, was purchased following a sharp decline in the share price that had brought the valuation down to an all-time low. This was funded by selling Baltic Classifieds Group. We also added Wilmington, the risk and compliance data business, where share price weakness following the company’s recent acquisition had brought the valuation down to a low level.
Elsewhere, in the energy sector we added a small position, Jadestone, the Southeast Asian focused production and exploration company, which we believe offers one of the most attractive valuations relative to its peers. In the property sector, we bought shares in GPE, the London-focused prime office specialist, where the share price does not, in our view, fully reflect the improving balance between supply and demand in the London office market, which is driving rental growth. Finally, we added support services company, Mears, where we expect strong growth in the company’s core maintenance business to more than offset a managed decline in the asylum business.
Other complete sales were Conduit, a company that provides insurance to other insurance companies, pharmaceuticals company, GSK and emerging markets fund manager, Ashmore, which were sold because we believed their share prices fully reflected our expectations for their future prospects.
Page 8

Premier Miton Investment Funds (Dublin) plc 6 Interim Report and Unaudited Financial Statements
The buy-to-let specialist lender (a lender focused on properties bought to be rented out), OSB was sold following a strong rally in the share price and our concerns that the end market may struggle in the wake of ongoing regulatory change.
Oil services company, GMS, was sold immediately following the outbreak of the war in the Middle East due to the company’s high exposure to the region.
Fund outlook and strategy
At the time of writing, the fragile ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran has been broken, with both sides now threatening to re-escalate the conflict. That said, a perpetual state of war seems unlikely, as neither side seems to benefit from such an outcome. A ceasefire agreement remains the most likely outcome, but it is unlikely to resolve many of the key issues, meaning a return to hostilities will always be a possibility. In the meantime, the rest of the world are likely to continue adapting to the situation.
In the UK, developments in Westminster are likely to remain a key focus for investors. Following his election as Prime Minister in July 2026, Andy Burnham has begun setting out his government's policy agenda, while Chancellor John Healey faces the challenge of balancing spending priorities with the UK's constrained fiscal position. The new administration will potentially face many of the same fiscal and monetary constraints as its predecessor, which in our view may limit the scope for significant policy change.
Despite all the geopolitical and economic uncertainty the first half of 2026 has brought, we are reassured by the performance of the Fund’s holdings. In the main, we believe our holdings are excellently managed, market-leading businesses with little to no financial risk.
Even those facing difficult end markets have typically managed this well, for example by taking market share from smaller competitors or keeping a very tight lid on costs. We expect this to continue through the balance of 2026 and therefore remain cautiously optimistic.

Premier Miton (Ireland) Global Dynamic Credit Fund
Investment Manager’s review
Performance review
The Premier Miton (Ireland) Global Dynamic Credit Fund (the “Fund”) returned 1.04% over the period, compared with a return of 1.39% from the ICE BofA 1-5 Year Global Corporate Index (the “Index”). The first half of the year was marked by two very different market environments. During much of the period, concerns over the escalating conflict in the Middle East made investors more cautious. As a result, bond (a loan made by an investor to a government or company) prices generally fell across markets, especially government bonds (bonds issued by governments to raise money). Against this backdrop, the Fund's emphasis on more defensive holdings helped support performance. Bonds in financial companies and utility providers (such as electricity, water and energy companies) were particularly resilient.
Market sentiment improved significantly as a ceasefire was announced and oil prices declined. Confidence returned to markets and bond prices rose broadly, particularly among investments that had been hardest hit earlier in the year. While the Fund's more cautious positioning helped protect investors during the market weakness seen earlier in the period, it meant that it participated less fully in the market recovery that followed.
Several financial holdings performed particularly well during the second quarter. Bonds issued by Raiffeisen Bank International and Deutsche Bank rose in price as investors became increasingly confident in their financial strength and outlook. CPI Property Group, which had been a weaker performer earlier in the year, also recovered strongly as concerns around its finances eased and confidence in the property sector improved.
Market review
The first half of 2026 was shaped by events in the Middle East, which created uncertainty across global markets. Rising tensions between the US, Israel and Iran pushed oil prices higher and increased concerns about inflation and economic growth. Higher energy costs affected households and businesses around the world, while governments and central banks remained cautious about lowering interest rates. In the UK, political change added to uncertainty, although conditions improved later in the period as a fragile ceasefire was announced and oil prices fell. Sectors most exposed to fuel costs and economic growth, including airlines, car manufacturers, shipping and commercial property companies saw prices initially fall, but as headlines pointed towards de-escalation these sectors started to improve. Despite these challenges, corporate bonds (bonds issued by companies) overall performed well, with markets remaining resilient, supported by strong investor demand and improving confidence towards the end of June.
Portfolio review
The Fund maintained a diversified portfolio of high-quality financial companies and other companies issuing bonds throughout the first half of the year, navigating a period marked by heightened geopolitical uncertainty, volatile markets and shifting investor sentiment.
Activity in the market for newly issued bonds was relatively subdued in the first quarter, with companies issuing new bonds opportunistically during periods of stability.
The Fund selectively participated in new issues, including Société Générale, Google and attractively priced bonds issued by Salesforce, while also taking profits in holdings such as Telefonica and Kier following strong performance. As market conditions improved and geopolitical tensions eased, activity in the market for newly issued bonds accelerated, particularly in the US market. The Fund participated in several transactions, including NVIDIA and Charles Schwab, which performed well and were subsequently sold at a profit.
Throughout the period, the Fund continued to actively sell positions, taking profits in holdings including Nippon Life and Nokia and buying bonds which offered more attractive valuations. Within the automotive sector, BMW issued a profit warning that prompted broader weakness among sector peers. The Fund took the opportunity to further reduce its exposure to the auto sector, crystallising gains and selling at a profit.
Fund outlook and strategy
The geopolitical outlook remains uncertain, with ongoing supply disruptions affecting different regions and sectors in different ways and contributing to inflation remaining unpredictable.

Governments and businesses are expected to shorten supply chains to improve resilience to future disruptions. This may accelerate the trend towards companies producing and sourcing goods closer to home, which has become more common in recent years. At the same time, government finances remain under pressure as defence costs continue to rise.
The Fund is likely to remain focused on shorter-dated bonds (which are generally less sensitive to changes in interest rates) and higher-quality issuers (companies with stronger financial positions and a lower perceived risk of being unable to repay their debt) in an effort to maintain a smoother investment journey for investors.

Investment Manager’s review
Performance review
The Premier Miton (Ireland) US Opportunities Fund (the “Fund”) returned -7.92% against the Bloomberg 500 Index (the “Index”) benchmark performance of 10.20%. The underperformance was driven by strong performance of semiconductor companies and beneficiaries of Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) capital expenditure (“CapEx”), an area where the Fund had no exposure. The Fund’s higher exposure to software and industrial services hurt as the market rotated to those sectors expected to benefit from improvements in economic conditions. However, things turned sharply positive in June as the market started to question the levels of the AI CapEx investment and the Fund outperformed significantly.
Market review
Despite geopolitical uncertainty, the Index remained resilient during the first half of the year. Market performance broadened beyond the largest companies, with smaller companies performing strongly, outperforming the mega-sized companies, supported by robust company earnings and continued AI optimism.
The primary factor that weighed on markets was the late-February US-Iran conflict. Strikes and closures of the Strait of Hormuz (a key shipping route used to transport oil and gas) spiked Brent crude oil over US$100 per barrel, fuelling inflation fears and expectations of higher US interest rates from the central bank, the Federal Reserve. However, a mid-June ceasefire Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) eased tensions, supporting a strong equity rebound. Ultimately, continued enthusiasm for AI and corporate earnings successfully offset these geopolitical drags.
Portfolio review
Over the period, we added several new holdings to the portfolio. We bought a recent Initial Public Offering (“IPO”), Medline, an overlooked medical supply manufacturer with a multi-decade track record of steady growth, which we purchased at a valuation that we considered attractive.
We added a number of positions in the reshoring theme (where businesses move production and supply chains back to the US) in US companies. We added a holding in Kirby, which we have owned before, the top US inland barge operator to capitalise on US refineries increasing refined-product volumes. We bought ESCO Technologies, a diversified, high-quality industrial manufacturer with exposure to aerospace, defence and utility solutions. We invested in ATI, a dominant advanced alloy supplier benefiting from a strong commercial aerospace cycle and rising defence spending, supporting profitability and a leading less than-truckload transporter which has high entry barriers and strong pricing power, cyclically which we believe is well positioned to benefit from increased US manufacturing activity.
We also bought a couple of idiosyncratic names like Casey’s. This is a leading convenience store operator evolving into a quick service restaurant, with significant room for expansion and Moody’s where we believe concerns relating to AI are overstated. We believe its proprietary datasets position it to benefit from developments in AI. To fund this, we sold the Fund’s holdings in Morningstar.
We also sold the Fund’s holdings in ICF International, Kinsale, CBIZ and Chipotle Mexican Grill. We have completely exited five positions due to mounting macroeconomic pressures, structural disruptions and shifting company dynamics: We fully sold ICF International due to ongoing federal government uncertainty and unmitigated fears of AI disruption.
We exited position in Kinsale, a specialist insurer, as competitors used excess capital for aggressive price-cutting, although we remain open to revisiting the investment in the future. We sold our residual holding in Chipotle Mexican Grill as the quick service restaurant space suffers from value-seeking consumers, price-cutting and slowing growth forecasts. CBIZ was sold due to integration difficulties following the Marcum merger, softening customer demand against price increases and long-term AI risks. Finally, we sold our remaining shares in Vertex as intense competitive discounting and the departure of the company’s long-standing CEO undermined our confidence in the company's competitive durability.
Page 12
Investment Manager’s Report (continued) For the six months ended 30 June 2026
Premier Miton Investment Funds (Dublin) plc 10 Interim Report and Unaudited Financial Statements
Fund outlook and strategy
Looking ahead to the second half of 2026, we remain broadly positive on the outlook for stock markets. Company earnings are expected to continue growing, helped by ongoing investment in AI and stronger participation from a wider range of companies, rather than just the largest businesses. Increased spending on AI infrastructure and domestic manufacturing in the United States, supported by government policies, could also provide further support for economic growth and company profits. Opportunities may continue to emerge across smaller companies, businesses that benefit from economic growth and companies involved in the development and use of AI technologies.
However, there are also risks that could affect market performance. Ongoing tensions in the Middle East could lead to greater uncertainty in energy prices and inflation. There is also a possibility that the US central bank could raise interest rates if inflation remains a concern. In addition, share prices in some parts of the market already reflect high expectations for future growth, leaving less room for disappointment if company earnings fail to meet expectations. On the other hand, a lasting improvement in geopolitical tensions could provide support for markets. Overall, the outlook remains balanced, with investors closely watching AI-related spending, company earnings, valuations and geopolitical developments.

Investment Manager’s review
Performance review
The Premier Miton (Ireland) Financials Capital Securities Fund (“the Fund”) launched on 13 March 2026. From launch to 30 June 2026, the Fund delivered a return of 1.87% (Class F GBP hedged acc shares), while the ICE BofA Contingent Capital Index returned 3.14%. Performance was driven by continued credit spread tightening across the asset class. The Fund maintained a relatively defensive stance throughout the period, reflecting a cautious view against a backdrop of elevated geopolitical and macroeconomic uncertainty. As market sentiment improved following the ceasefire and the subsequent decline in oil prices, the Fund’s defensive positioning resulted in a slight drag on performance as rates rallied and credit spreads tightened back to pre-war levels.
Top contributors included Deutsche Bank, KBC, Unicredit and Santander.
Our strategy of investing in high-quality, short-dated and high-reset subordinated financials continued to deliver lower-volatility returns, consistent with our risk-managed approach.
Benchmark Source: ICE Data Indices, LLC is used with permission. As at least 75% of the fund is invested in capital securities of financial institutions, including contingent capital bonds, we believe that the ICE BofA Contingent Capital Index (the “Index”) is an appropriate comparator to enable investors to assess performance of the Fund.
The Fund is actively managed and is managed in reference to the Index. The investment manager may use its discretion to invest in securities not included in the benchmark.
Market review
The second quarter of 2026 was dominated by the scale of tensions between the US and Iran and which reshaped investor expectations for inflation, growth and central bank policy. The sharp rise in energy prices following the conflict heightened concerns that inflation could remain elevated for longer, forcing markets to reassess the timing and extent of future interest rate cuts. The combination of slowing growth expectations, persistent inflationary pressures and increased fiscal uncertainty created a challenging backdrop for fixed income markets, resulting in volatility across government bond yields.
The US economy remained relatively resilient during the quarter, supported by a strong labour market and ongoing investment in Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) and technology infrastructure. However, persistent inflation and heightened geopolitical uncertainty kept central banks cautious, contributing to volatility in government bond markets.
In the UK, inflation remained above target while signs of labour market weakness emerged. Political uncertainty also weighed on sentiment, although easing Middle East tensions and lower energy prices helped gilt yields fall by the end of the period.
Meanwhile, Europe continued to face subdued growth and renewed inflation concerns linked to higher energy prices.
The ECB responded with a 25bp rate hike, while expectations of higher defence spending and government borrowing contributed to pressure on sovereign bond markets.
Financials were among the strongest-performing sectors during the quarter. European bank equities significantly outperformed broader market indices, supported by another solid reporting season and continued confidence in sector fundamentals. First quarter results demonstrated resilient profitability, underpinned by revenue strength, cost discipline and benign asset quality trends.
Financial credit delivered a strong performance during the quarter, with spreads tightening across Senior, Tier 2 and Additional Tier 1 (“AT1”) instruments as investors continued to be attracted by high all-in yields combined with the sector’s resilient fundamentals. AT1 spreads moved back towards historically tight levels despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainty.
M&A activity also became an increasingly important theme throughout the quarter. Consolidation discussions accelerated across several European markets, particularly in the UK, Germany and Italy, amid ongoing strategic reviews and potential domestic banking combinations.
Primary market activity remained active but continued to run below prior-year levels. AT1 issuance was scarce as many issuers had already pre-funded upcoming calls through early refinancing activity. Combined with seasonal issuance patterns and continuing tender activity, this has created a positive technical backdrop for subordinated financial credit.

Investment Manager’s Report (continued) For the six months ended 30 June 2026
Premier Miton Investment Funds (Dublin) plc 12 Interim Report and Unaudited Financial Statements
Portfolio review
During the period since its launch, we increased the Fund’s exposure to Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, UBS and Societe Generale, all at attractive yield and reset levels.
Sales activity focused on reducing exposure to UK banks and increasing allocations to European banks, reflecting concerns around potential market volatility arising from political uncertainty. Key sales included positions in Barclays, HSBC and Coventry Building Society.
Fund outlook and strategy
The geopolitical outlook remains uncertain at the present time with continued supply shocks resulting in inflation continuing to remain persistent and volatile.
The Fund is likely to remain at the shorter end of duration parameters and at the higher quality end of the credit spectrum with a focus on managing volatility.
Within the financial institutions we invest in, asset quality remains strong, underpinned by disciplined underwriting standards, resilient borrower performance and conservative provisioning. Combined with robust profitability, this leaves banks well positioned to absorb any deterioration that may arise from the current macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainty.
Indeed, if anything, the steeper interest rate outlook could prove supportive for earnings through improved net interest margins, further reinforcing the sector’s already solid credit fundamentals.
We remain active, selective and opportunistic, adding paper that prices wider than fair value and tactically extending duration only into dislocations.
