This document provides you with key investor information about this Fund. It is not marketing material. The information is re quired by law to help you understand the nature and the risks of investing in this Fund. You are advised to read it so you can make an informed decision about whether to invest. AI Developed World ex UK Equity Index (Custom Screened) Fund, UK Institutional Accumulation Units, a sub - fund of the Aviva Investors Passive Funds ACS (AIPF ACS) (ISIN: GB00BDZZFJ43). This fund is managed by Aviva Investors UK Fund Services Limited. OBJECTIVES AND INVESTMENT POLICY
The aim of the Fund is to seek to provide capital growth and income for investors by tracking closely the performance of the FTSE® Custom Screened Developed ex UK Index (the "Benchmark Index"). In pursuing this objective the Fund will directly invest into constituents of the Benchmark Index. The Fund may also invest in permitted transferable securities, permitted money market instrum ents, permitted deposits, units in collective investment schemes (including schemes operated by other Aviva Group entities and group entities of the Investment Manager) and exchange traded funds (including funds operated by group entities of the Investment Manager). Derivatives may be used for the purposes of efficient portfolio management and to reduce risk in the Fund. Derivatives are linked to the rise and fall of other assets. In other words, they "derive" their price from another asset. They can genera te returns when share prices and/or indices fall. The Benchmark Index is based on the FTSE® Developed ex UK Index (the Parent Index) but introduces custom screening to exclude certain constituents of the Parent Index. Relative to the Parent Index, the Benc hmark Index excludes constituents from the Parent Index based on Aviva Investors’ baseline exclusion policy, as set out in Appendix 5 of the Prospectus. Performance and Risk Measurement: The Fund's performance is compared against the Benchmark Index becaus e the Fund intends to replicate the performance of the Benchmark Index. The Fund uses a “tracking error” to measure the consistency between the Fund's returns and the returns of the Benchmark Index. In general, the lower the tracking error, the more consis tent the Fund's returns are relative to the Index, and vice - versa.
The Fund has a yearly tracking error target range of 0 - 0.30% (excluding charges). In normal market conditions the anticipated level of tracking error will be within 0.30% (excluding charg es) of the Benchmark Index.
